We know we are really lucky to focus on vacations all day every day... and we know not everyone is as lucky.
That's why with each purchase, Lucky Blue donates a portion of the proceeds to organizations that help families in need establish safe and comfortable homes.
We have partnered with local and national organizations to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
Our current beneficiary is the Mission of Deeds -- a local organization dedicated to giving furniture and household items to those in need.
A Note from Lucky Blue Founder Stacey DiCarlo
I love to help short-term rental owners style their spaces. But it has always been critical to me that as a company, we do meaningful work.
I was raised not only knowing that my family was very lucky, but also that there were plenty of families out there who didn't have it quite as easy. Giving back was central to my upbringing, and this deep desire to do meaningful work carried into my professional career.
Before launching Lucky Blue, my work had always been for mission-driven nonprofits, and usually for those focused on helping low-income or food-insecure families. As an employee and self-employed consultant, I worked for local, national, and international organizations, helping them improve their digital marketing and online fundraising. Now I continue this work as a volunteer, helping my local schools, church, food pantry, and other community outreach organizations maintain their websites and raise money online.
I started Lucky Blue because of my creative drive, but my personal and professional instincts to help others have a big impact on our company.
It is our mission to help struggling families make their houses feel a little bit more like home. Maybe a family is new to the country or to the area, and needs help getting set up with furniture and simple decor for their home. Maybe a mother is starting fresh for the safety of her family. Maybe a father lost his job due to the pandemic, and there isn't money left for small comforts of home.
